Mattias Hansson, CEO at OptiCaller Software is very happy that Olle E Johansson joins the team. Today, Olle has a unique track record and great knowledge about the Open Source based telephony exchange Asterisk; in witch he also is a member of the board (asterisk.org), educates about the Asterisk exchange and act consult in large operator projects and company projects.

Olle started the largest Asterisk convention in the world, AstriCon witch annually is held in USA. Amongst the customer projects that Olle has been involved in, are University of Oslo, University of Portugal and the post order company Ellos just a few of the merits. These three, all chose Asterisk.

Asterisk in North America has, in a short period of time grown to be the most implemented IP-telephony platform with a market share of 18%. In the smaller segments, 10-50 users the market share is even larger.

With all these pro’s there only one con, the mobile integration is not good enough. OptiCaller Software will soon release the mobility module; Mobile2Asterisk (The website www.mobile2asterisk.com will also launch in a close future.) witch is a free module that works perfectly against the OptiCaller clients in any phone. This module gives the user all the regular functions of an exchange plus the great call optimization directly to the phone.
